If something is “the bee’s knees”…

…… it means that it is very very good. It is high quality or really cool or interesting. Nobody really knows where the expression comes from, but one possibility is from literal bees. Bees carry pollen in sacks on their knees, so maybe that is where the phrase comes from!!!

“Have you seen the new Star Wars movie yet? It’s the bee’s knees!!!”
